Birmingham based Holdens Supaseal Ltd is celebrating its 40th Year Anniversary within the glass industry for the manufacture of high performance insulated glass units. Holdens is a 5th generation family owned company now employing some 40 staff, it has originated from. Its parent company of Holdens Glass who were one of the first companies in the concept of sealed units within the UK. It became an independent company in 1977 and became Holdens Supaseal Ltd with Mr John Holdens son Michael as MD and his daughter Carol as Director.
Holdens Supaseal pride themselves on their quality and service and the personal touch that a family company can offer their dedicated staff are always happy to offer their customers a wealth of knowledge and experience. With the progression of the company Mr Andy Law was appointed as a new General Manager in 2013 and younger family members have joined the company Mr Seb Holden and Mrs Cheryl Biggs.
In 1998 Holdens Supaseal became one of the 1st in the UK to embrace a new form of glazing technology in the world with advanced thermal performance, Low E glass and insert gas fill with high performance warm edge spacer. With an eye to the future Holdens continue to develop and expand their product range to address new markets.
Holdens Supaseal also office Supashade units with integral blinds (both remote and manual options). For domestic use, and quality Supaslim units. Ultra-thin yet thermally efficient, designs for the specialist joinery window trade and for use in conservation.
Holdens insulated glass units incorporate the latest glass technologies, energy efficiency self-cleaning, solar control, together with warm-edge spacer and argon/krypton filling.
